2 weeks in a hotel

We spent over 2 weeks living out of a hotel in Austin. We were in between au pairs and I had to travel so the boys came with me so I could help out in the evenings. We had so much fun taking Gavin to parks, pools, and just the lobby of the hotel where he had many friends. It was nice to have everything so close but we hated sharing a room with Gavin who is a very light sleeper.

At Zilker Park - the best playground we have ever seen! There were always tons of other kids there for Gavin to observe and interact with - his favorite activity.

Chris and Gavin went the Children's Museum on Mondays for a baby event with story time, music, and more. The first week Chris was the only man there with about 40 women.

At the fountain park. this was a great way to cool off from the 100 degree, very humid weather.

Chris is determined to make Gavin masculine...

We put all the dangerous things up high in the hotel room and then let Gavin take over. He loved playing under the sink and in the cabinet where the pots were kept.
