Las Cruces and Grandma and Grandpa Chapman

We drove across Texas to go see Grandma and Grandpa Chapman. What is usually a 9 hour drive took 11 hours because of the frequent stops to feed Kayla but Chris and I easily agreed that driving was better than flying!! It was nice to pack as much as we want (including 3 adults, 2 kids, a dog, 2 bikes, a scooter, and lots of toys for entertainment in the car), recline the seats, watch movies, and be as loud as we wanted to without worrying about our fellow passengers. In Las Cruces we did lots of swimming: Grandpa and Kayla

Gavin was quite brave jumping in from the high ledge!

Gavin also got spoiled with fun activities like baking!

And of course, we went back to the sand dunes

And here is a great video of Gavin sledding! I thought the camera was off less than halfway through the video but it is still funny to listen to it. And yes, he did want to go again but no, I was not successful in catching him that time either =O
