Thanksgiving Preschool Performance

The kids had their first school performance today, for Thanksgiving. A few days ago Gavin was telling me that he was going to play an instrument and got to pick bells or drums. He picked the drums. He told me they weren't marching with the drums, just standing still. About 2 minutes later he told me I had to take all of that out of my brain because it was supposed to be a secret :)

Gavin is at the top right, watching his family instead of performing. He did lots of waving and at one point he asked where Daddy was (he had moved for a better picture angle). He also tapped Kayla on the sholder to say hi, bumping a few people out of the way.

Kayla is in the front, 4th girl from the right. She was pretty shy and just watched her Dad take pictures most of the time.

Kayla being shy again

and Gavin more interested in the audience again

After the 15 minutes of songs we had a pot luck Thanksgiving feast. Here are the kids playing while we waited in line.
