We had a book exchange with the neighborhood kids.
I loved seeing almost all of them interested in books, since they are usually pretty wild and crazy together!
Then Christmas Eve came...
Baking cookies for Santa
Their "special" ornaments. This is a new tradition that we did with their advent calendar this year. Each day had a different Christmas related activity and one day they got to open and hang a new ornament. They will get an ornament each year that represents their interests. This year it was Cinderella for Kayla and Spider Man for Gavin.
The kids table at Christmas dinner.
And the adult table
Exchanging family presents on Christmas Eve
Waking (at 6am for Gavin and 6:30 for Kayla, normal times) up to stockings and gifts from Santa
Gavin gets his first lesson with his new golf clubs
Since Gavin got a lot of Lego that is normal sized (not the toddler stuff) Chris decided to share the box of Lego that he has been saving for 30 years!
Yes Christmas is when we rake leaves in Austin
I think they needed a break by the end
