Gavin joined a new soccer league that had actual games, uniforms and refs. The only problem was it was coached by parent volunteers and we got put on a team with a coach that wasn't that great. I ended up volunteering to coach in hopes of helping the situation - to at least make it fun since I can't teach the skills. It was too bad Chris doesn't have a regular schedule to do this kind of thing since he actually knows how to play soccer.
As you can see it was a small team. We had 6 kids on the team but usually about 4 showed up. We played 4 at a time but our team needed breaks or just didn't want to play so we often had 2-3 playing against 4 well rested players from the other team. They didn't keep score but we held our own! And Gavin loved it!!
