Swim Team

Both Gavin and Kayla swam for the Hurricanes this year. Gavin got to compete as a 6 and under even after he turned 7 so he did very well in the races. The 6 and under girls did a lot of coloring on their bodies and all the kids played a lot of games and electronics while they waited for their races. We celebrated when they got all best times with snow cones. After school finished they moved to morning practices and we only made about 1a week, max, because of the camps they went to for childcare. It highlighted the challenges we will continue to have balancing getting our kids to activities and working. I don't know how our parents did it!
