We took our first camping trip with the kids this weekend. We learned a lot for next time! For example it is not worth sacrificing naps to spend more time there because they were so cranky that we were very close to leaving. The kids had fun and we look forward to many more trips in the future. There was an unexpected cold front that also made it interesting- low 40s/high 30s at night and low 60s as the high.
