Megan's parents moved to Austin to be closer to family so we saw a lot of them! Mary Rita's health started declining in the fall and the kids visited her in the hospital on Halloween to show her their costumes. She was at our house for Thanksgiving but was too sick to come to the table or eat. Here is the last picture we have of her before she was admitted to the ICU where she died in December.
The kids kept the mood light during that Thanksgiving celebration.
