Boat/RV camping

We took our RV to a lake and met Colin, Jenn, and Chloe there with their boat. They stayed in a house since Chloe is still a little too young to comfortable camp. It was still a little rainy but we had at least 1 good day boating and enjoying some sun. The last morning there were some nearby tornado warnings so we came up with a safety plan. The tornadoes moved out so we went back to playing and then packing up. As we were about to pull out the neighboring RV told us more tornados were heading towards us. We spent the afternoon watching the tornado and severe weather track on our phone and taking detours to avoid them. We drove away from home and sat the worst tornado risk out at lunch. We then took a long way home around the edge of the worst weather. That was an experience I hope never to repeat! It turned out to be a deadly day/night in the Austin area with many tornadoes and massive flooding. We even had to take a detour in our neighborhood since one of the creeks had come over the bridge.

Fixing the boat trailer that broke launching it into the extremely high river

Eating BBQ while we waited for the tornado to pass
